About CiteOps

CiteOps is an authority system, not just a dashboard.

CiteOps exists because AI visibility is no longer a narrow SEO problem. Models cite entities, proof, definitions, pricing clarity, comparison surfaces, and trusted public references. The product has to improve all of that together or it is not telling the truth.

Founder-led thesis

CiteOps was founded in 2025 by Vakeesan Mahalingam to solve a problem most SEO software still treats as edge-case noise: if buyers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews who to trust, the answer is shaped by far more than keyword rankings.

That means the product needs to understand crawler policy, structured data, decision pages, public benchmarks, case studies, author signals, and outside corroboration as one operating loop. CiteOps uses the benchmark, methodology, proof pages, and connector-backed execution to make that loop visible.

The result is a product that does not just scan. It diagnoses, prioritizes, executes when the write path is real, and keeps proof attached to the outcome.

Research posture

CiteOps is built in partnership with the Canadian Fintech Research Institute. The point of that relationship is not decorative credibility. It is to keep the scoring, proof, and public methodology disciplined enough to deserve citations.

We would rather show a blocker than a fake green state. We would rather seed a curated benchmark with provenance than ship an empty benchmark and call it live.

Proof before posture. The benchmark, methodology, and proof pages are the product surface, not marketing garnish.

Truthful blockers over fake success. Missing credentials, weak entity signals, or unsupported write paths stay visible.

Authority is a system. CiteOps combines technical fixes, answer surfaces, benchmark evidence, and off-site corroboration.

Follow the proof

Read the methodology, inspect the benchmark, then decide if you want the agent to run.
